The Vividus Bed
the most exclusive bed in the world

The side stitching of the mattress increases stability.

The horsehair in the Vividus is hand flailed. It makes sure that the bed is going to maintain its
comfort and shape for a long time.

The mattress is built up by layers of horsehair and cotton and wool. It is sewn together to keep
the shape for many years to come.

The overlay mattress is made of hand flailed horsehair and sewn together with a sturdy stitch.
That means no seam locks with another and the mattress is pliable and soft.

The fabric is reinforced and double quilted. It maintains its shape well and reduces noise in
the bedroom.

The central-section sprung mattress contains an 18 centimeter spiral springs that bears the
weight of your body individually.

The frame is built in
finest-quality solid pine and the legs are made in beautifully oiled oak.

Every single Vividus
is signed with the name of the owner and the name of Hästens master
craftsman Jan-Erik Leander.

The Vividus bottom-section springs are put in place one by one, by hand.

The springs are fixed with a durable yarn. The hand-tied spring system means the Vividus is
pliable and soft.

The fabric of the bottom-section is quilted cotton of highest quality. It is fixed to the frame
and covered by a decorative strip of oak, framing the bottom-section of Vividus.

Each and every rib of wood is individually set in place in a groove and secured with wooden
plugs.

The frame is strong and durable and joined at the corners using swallow-tail joints.

To fix the fabric in the central-section mattress, the master craftsmen measure by hand the
exact, correct position of the holding dimples.
